Short stories assignment 1

1.  - she calls him "darling"
     - she kisses him
     - she hung his coat for him in the closet
     - she waits for him
2. he is a police officer, and his colleagues have to investigate is case.
3. He is leaving her and mary gets mad about that
4. She is nervous and she just killed her husband
5. In the beginning she is nice and sweet to her husband and later in the story she kills him and becomes a monster to other people
6. She knows them because they were colleagues from her husband.
7. So she can keep an eye on what they are doing and see how everything is going
8. Detectives usually are not allowed to drink alcohol during their work because they have to stay focussed
9. They don't suspect her for killing patrick
10. They try to make clear that people who do bad things willbe punished
